Bujold, Stephen

Someone once said: “To communicate is to understand and for that we need a voice”.
I’m Steve Bujold and I’ve used mine for more than 3 decades.

After entertaining thousands across Canada for decades I launched the popular podcast Downhome Corner in 2018
connecting “downhomers” around the world via the internet.

I’ve interviewed hundreds of entertainers, musicians, athletes including 2 Canadian Premiers, cast and director of the TV series Trailer Park Boys and a number of members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman as well.

I’ve written and narrated documentaries, voiced countless commercials and helped create unique and memorable character voices.

In 2018 I voiced two distinct characters in the play “Knickers” which ran for 30 performances at the Upper Canada Playhouse in Morrisburg, ON.

I’m also a singer/songwriter. My CD, “Love, Lies and Other Obsessions” was released in 1999 produced by Douglas Romanow and featured 10 original tracks I cowrote. The project featured some of Toronto and Canada’s top session and live musicians of the day some of whom I’ve performed with live.

A consummate professional I remain a devoted student of voice. My growth mindset approach, child like enthusiasm and a voice with a high “likeability” factor makes me perfect for many projects.
